I had my first job interview with Shilo Inns yesterday. No not to clean rooms or hold doors but as their graphic artist. Apparently their one and only graphic artist. They have 45 locations in the west but only one Designer at their corporate head quarters which lucky for me is 5 minutes down the Interstate 26 from me. I'd get a huge office (no windows it's underground) but it would be a very busy and stressful job. I have a second interview with them on Monday afternoon to discuss a sample ad that I will be designing for them on Monday morning. If all goes well and they like what they see I may be able to head to the coast for my wedding with a job offer in hand. When I was there for the interview yesterday they were very gushing about my website and my portfolio. They also seemed very impressed with the work I had done previously for Robson Publishing in Chandler AZ. I hope they weren't just blowing smoke because it gave me allot of confidence in my work which I am always a little unsure of.
